Sharing a little bit of Spring

I know..
according to the calendar it is not Spring, but the temps are warm, the birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming! This past week I had to clear everything out of my kitchen because we got new counter tops. I took off early yesterday to start the clean up and put back process. I got up early this morning all prepared to get things back to normal. I put on a pot of coffee, opened the blinds, looked out and I saw it! Spring!! So, while I work on getting my kitchen back (pictures of the re-do to come!)--I hope you'll enjoy this little bit of Spring from my backyard.
There are tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and candytuff.
I planted bulbs on either side of the walkway in hopes they would bloom about the same time.
Ahhhhh...is it Spring yet??

Glad you got your counter tops in and I'm looking forward to seeing the results! LOVE LOVE LOVE your pictures today...I was favoring the 2nd and 3rd pics of the tulips and daffodils and then I saw the final picture leading to your sitting area -- so so wonderful!!! I'm glad you love your gardening so much, if it were me--I'd be entrenched in your chairs and only the hardiest plants would survive ;-)

Nothing says spring like your lovely backyard. The tulips and candytuft look great! Hope all went well with the new install and you are able to get outside in the garden now.

Glad you like the backyard JJ. You live close..come by and sit a spend sometime!

We are really happy with the kitchen Tina. I'll try and take some pictures. I am not the best photographer..especially inside, but maybe I can get something to show the change.
Boy am I ready to get out in the garden now!!

Oh, your yard is so pretty! I don't have any tulips blooming yet. Just growing bit by bit. Maybe I didn't fertilize enough... I'm bad about that. The pansies are going to the wayside, which tells me spring is about to arrive.

Thanks Brenda! You know...I noticed today that my pansies didn't look very good. I thought they usually last until first of May. I am not quite ready to plant zinnas in place of the pansies--we have to go through our Easter freeze first!

I love Spring Cindee! It is so exciting to see the flowers start to bloom!

Debbi--I just looked at the forecast for next week...UGH!!! Thursday the high will be 44!!! No, No, No!!!! :)

Nola-I will try and take a picture of the countertops soon. I think I will wait after they seal the backsplash, which is Tuesday.
Hey....will you keep me (all of us!) informed about the bluebonnets? The ones in my yard are starting to bloom. I love to drive to Ennis to see your fantastic show. Please let me know when they are ready to peak! Thanks! :)

I'd say it is definitely spring at your house Linda. Everything looks beautiful. I'm ready to come over to sit a spell, have a cup of coffee with you and solve all the problems of gardens(which you have none obviously)!

You are too sweet Susie! Come on over and we will have that coffee. (wouldn't that be nice if that could really happen!_
It's Spring today, but I hear winter is coming back at the end of the week. Blaghhhhh!!
