While enjoying the splendor and vivid colors of fall..I stumble across a beautiful reminder of a spring yet to come..

Linda girl how are you !
How is it in Texas now ? .. a little cooler ?
That rose is so gorgeous .. one of my favourite colours too : )
I have a few old English roses mixed in with hardy Canadian ones and they are all special in their own right.
To spend a few moments in an old cottage garden smelling all of those scents ? I could not think of anything better girl : )

Thanks Tina! I just love that rose--wish I had room for more of them!
Joy, it is rather warm in Texas today, but there have been a few cool days-and a little bit of rain. I so wish I had a good place for lots of roses. I'll meet you for tea in that dream of a rose garden! :)
Love that rose. Wish they would do better here in this awful heat & humidity.
Lola--I did not know roses wouldn't do well with humidity! Have you tried knock-out roses? My sister lives in hot, humid Houston--and those kind do great for her! :)
