Notes about living and gardening somewhere down in Texas
My butterfly weed didn't come back this year. Guess our winter was just too cold.
A perfect home for some lucky birds!
How pretty!!!Mine isn't blooming yet, soon I hope.Marnie
Ooh look at all that beautiful Butterfly Weed just ready for the eating. ;)
Susie, I didn't think mine did either--then I saw these growing in the pots with the geranimums! Who would have guessed! :)Tina, the birds haven't found this house yet. It maybe too low for them.Marnie--Mine just started blooming. And, no aphids yet!Racquel--should I put out a sign saying just that "ready for eating!" :) Guess it's still early for the monarch caterpillars.
Your flowers look better than mine right now. Mine look like the heat has got them beat.Brenda
Brenda--these flowers look good, but you should see the other side of the yard. I have been whinning to hubby all week. Now that the Bradfords are gone, the plants get all that west sun! And I know the worst is yet to come! :) Ugh!
