You're right! won't be long now.
Some of my coreopsis have already bloomed and getting ready to start again.
Your plants are in the same stage as mine. My bluebonnets have buds too! I've never seen them bloom so really looking forward to it. Best plants for containers, hmmm, maybe tomatoes, lettuce and peppers. Probably any can be grown this way but I suspect they'll take a lot of fertilizer and water. Give it a try-even herbs would be great.
You have buds on everything.
I have a bud on one rose and the peonies are full of buds but that's about it in my garden.

JJ--yes, although I have been saying that for quite some time now! :)
Susie--you are kidding! Mine still have a ways to go!
Tina--buds on the bonnets! I am so excited for you! Keep me updated!
I think I will try lettuce and maybe chives in a container. I do grow mints in containers--don't want them running wild!
Marnie, I do have buds on lots of things, but it has been really warm here--plus the recent rains have helped.
Nola-that is exactly what they do..tease! I go out everyday hoping to see flowers!
MR--I know, lots of green..and I am ready for color! :)
I have a yellow coreopsis blooming & I think it's pretty. The first one for me.
Lola-I have several different types of coreopsis, but only the "mounding" is in bloom. The others are all in bud, but not there yet. I love them and have seeds to plant more.
BTW--I think you are right about the mystery plant!
Yay for all those soon to be blooms! :)
