It's also been cloudy and some rain so it looks and feels like the middle of winter.Susiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06270611634380137009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-34773933707342162052009-11-27T15:17:42.372-08:002009-11-27T15:17:42.372-08:00Linda, the pansies look very happy to be in your g...Linda, the pansies look very happy to be in your garden! I must go buy some this weekend to go in my wheelbarrow out front. And I've got several birdhouses that need a place to call home ... I'm going to borrow your idea and put one in the wheelbarrow, too!Cindy, MCOKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16094260737874973235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-40830937659692566202009-11-16T15:22:56.780-08:002009-11-16T15:22:56.780-08:00Hi Tina! I am anxious to get the bulbs in the ground, but we can't do that too early here. We had a nice cold front come through last night..so next weekend should be a good time for bulb planting.

Nola, I'll send you an email too, but we do have that bendable kind of edging. (from HD or Lowes-can't remember) It is not the prettiest, but it does work well around corners. The flowers will fall over it a bit. I would really like stone edging....sigh..maybe someday! :)

Barbee--you are so right about tucking pansies! And that is exactly what I did in back. I like it so much, I may buy a few more after I plant bulbs to tuck here and there. I just love, love them!! :)Meadowview Thymeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16867494627331444375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-68830770314037602462009-11-16T10:17:18.036-08:002009-11-16T10:17:18.036-08:00I love pansies and the way they can be tucked in h...I love pansies and the way they can be tucked in here and there.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-54362784214059673932009-11-16T08:14:09.005-08:002009-11-16T08:14:09.005-08:00I'm planting pansies here, too. What type of edging do you have, it looks like you were able to bend it; that is what I need, because my soil spills out onto the sidewalk each time I water.Nolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12233644555327847881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-66870854082722269792009-11-16T04:34:42.158-08:002009-11-16T04:34:42.158-08:00Good morning! I have the same wheelbarrow. I finally found one at a roadside stop. $1 was a steal. I bought two though the other one is slightly different. I put some bulbs in there but I'm not sure how they'll do. It seems it dries out so quickly.

Not sure why you haven't seen any monarchs. They might all be here:)tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415302577518111227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-17342096401894159962009-11-16T04:27:39.213-08:002009-11-16T04:27:39.213-08:00JJ--yeah...my heart belongs to the wheelbarrow too...JJ--yeah...my heart belongs to the wheelbarrow too. One of the only things we have left that Daddy bought! I think he would approve (laugh, but approve!) :)

Susie..really..you think I can plant the potatoes? I am going to try it. Do I cut them in half..or just stick in the ground? What fun!
