I hate to lose all the fish-they are the only pets I have. Only thing we can do to keep our the herons is use a net. I really love this lily. So nice to have sun on the pond now!Meadowview Thymeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16867494627331444375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-50128764237264047652011-06-07T12:52:52.379-07:002011-06-07T12:52:52.379-07:00Linda girl your pond is beautiful!!

The yard faces west, and in the Texas heat summer is grueling. It's hard to enjoy being outside much I am afraid.Meadowview Thymeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16867494627331444375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-21532507449765725352011-06-04T13:20:26.177-07:002011-06-04T13:20:26.177-07:00The waterlily has such a pretty bloom. It looks like you have nice balance of plants and open water, plus fishy views.

It sounds like you are adapting to the sunnier yard, after the unexpected removal of your tree. I know that I would be heart broken to lose the shade and ambience of the trees, but it does open up a whole rainbow of new plants to try.Northern Shadehttp://northernshade.ca/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135459971489056342.post-20542521882364772502011-06-01T19:21:15.445-07:002011-06-01T19:21:15.445-07:00Thanks Racquel.
